Poached Apples and Pears with Orange Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:
2 pears (peeled) and quartered
2 apples (peeled) and quartered
A pinch of sea salt
1/2 cup apple juice
1/2 cup pear juice
Juice from 1/2 lemon
1 teaspoon vanilla
Juice from 1/2 orange
1-2 teaspoons tahini
1 tablespoon rice syrup
1 heaping teaspoon kuzu diluted in a little cold water

Preparation:

Place pears and apples in a pan, with the juices and vanilla.

Cover and cook the pears and apples for about 3-5 minutes or until they are soft.

Remove and place in a serving dish.

Add the tahini and rice syrup to the juices and mix until well blended.

Add the diluted kuzu and stir until the juice thickens.

Pour the sauce over the fruit and serve garnished with orange slices.
